How to get your 101 card


REQUIREMENTS

Basic Course: 
  • Min. 14 years of age

  • CAPF-101 with GES rating and trainee status for both GTM3 and UDF or better (Click the link to visit the Wing website's "How to get your 101 card" page)  
The following qualifications should be current on your CAPF 101 card.
    • SQTR for GTM3 with “GTM3 - Commander Approval for Prerequisites” shown as ACTIVE
  • Approval of your Wing Commander for non-Washington Wing members (see CAPF 60-81).

  • All adults must complete the Cadet Protection Basic Course before the Academy.

  • If you will be age 18 or older by the start of this activity, you must have completed the Cadet Protection Basic Course indicated in the NHQ database. If you are 17 and one half years old, you may take the CPBC now. Contact your unit Deputy Commander for Cadets.


Advanced Students
  • Same as above, plus

  • Current qualification of (at least) GTM3 and ability to demonstrate knowledge. GTM3 may be expired/Trainee status.

  • First Aid current.
Cadets applying for the Advanced Course must also meet the following conditions:
  • Physical Category 1 (in accordance with CAPP 60-50)

  • Completion of Encampment by the start of the Academy
