About Group CAC The NW Group Cadet Advisory Council represents every squadron in the group to advise the group commander on how to improve the cadet program. CAC meets at least once per quarter, but also work on projects, proposals and in smaller committees between meetings. The meetings are usually in-person, at WAWG Conferences, and via phone or video conference at other times.
Suggest a Project or Proposal
If you have an idea that you'd like the NW Group Cadet Advisory Council to add to their agenda, either contact your squadron's representative, or send an email to cac-nw@wawg.cap.gov with your research question or proposal.
Annual Term-ChangeCAC Terms last from 1 October to 30 September every year, and every CAC position opens for applications for every new term. Because eServices automatically removes all CAC assignments on 30 September, cadets wishing to carry-over their position into the next term must re-apply and be re-appointed.
In Washington Wing, there is a centralized term-change application process for every CAC position within the Wing. CAC term-change applications are open from 1 - 31 July every year. The Wing Cadet Programs Team will then send every commander their list of candidates to choose from.
Fill a Vacancy
If there's a vacancy listed below that you'd like to fill, reach out to your unit commander about filling it! Cadets can be appointed to fill vacancies at any time, and the CAC needs dedicated Cadet leaders like you to help make CAP better.
