Learning Labs and Staff Meetings

All members are welcome and encouraged to participate in our Learning Labs and Wednesday/Saturday meetings! The more we coordinate, the better!

If you cannot join in person, log on via the web for the most interactive and educational experience!

Commanders: Consider asking a unit member to attend in your place if you are not available!

Wednesdays (weekly)

Many volunteers arrive by late afternoon.
Most volunteers take a dinner break at 1700.

"Saturday Wing Staff Hours"  (bi-monthly) - 2019

16 February
20 April
15 June
17 August
19 October
7 December

Note regarding meeting format:
  • The building will open at 0900 hrs.

  • At 1000 hrs we will gather in the main conference room.

  • After brief Welcome and Announcements from your Wing Command staff (yes, this will accessible via our Uberconference line), Wing Staff personnel are encouraged to use the day to meet and coordinate with other departments.
For example, members could:
  • Schedule a meeting with the Logistics Officer to gather uniform items, etc.

  • Members could use the time to coordinate across or within departments on projects, etc.
Why have we made this change?
  • We listened to your feedback. Members kept asking, "We get so much accomplished on our weekly Wednesday call...what are we going to talk about on Saturday?"

  • Your time is precious! After talking to a few of you, we heard loud and clear that you would rather have this time to meet with other departments, etc., so we wanted to give this meeting back to our volunteers
